We are excited to announce the official launch of USUK Records with their first release Hear The Nightmare’ hitting all major music outlets March 6, 2019. Amazing music with a great story to tell!
THE STORY:
USUK is award winning UK DJ/Music Producer Mark EG alongside US piano composer and synth addict Chad Stegall. Chad booked Mark for his own event after Mark blew up in the techno scene in the Mid-West of America in 2000. Their relationship flourished, they kept in touch and eighteen years later, they decided to start working on music together. Amazingly, USUK debuted their new sound in the Mid-West of America, at the massive event ‘Even Furthur’ in 2018, the very same place where Chad first heard Mark play.
THE IDEA – USUK:
The idea behind the project and label, has been to take influences from two separate scenes and meld them together to create something completely unique. Their music has no specific genre or format and is about letting the sound and creative process take over and lead the way.
WHO IS USUK?
Chad is a piano composer and analog synth producer. He brings beautiful, inspiring, and sometimes haunting melodies to the table, along with a musical structure that few in the arena of electronic music can dream of emulating.
Mark EG is an award-winning DJ/Music Producer from the UK, endorsed by equipment giant Allen & Heath. His love for driving techno percussion, hard gritty bass and precise production techniques, gives the final touch to USUK cutting edge sound.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Expect driving melodic tracks, but with harder undertones than what is popular in the current charts. Throw in 80’s influences, driving electro vibes and you’re witnessing an exciting road ahead for their music. They’re also working with a session guitar player to take it a step further.
USUK LIVE:
The live act is Mark EG controlling the MIDI, 303 and sequencing Ableton Live while Chad plays leads live and manipulates analog machines on the fly. Add this to Mark EG’s legendary crazy stage antics and that is why USUK is one of the biggest up and coming live experiences going into 2019.
